
Kelly Osbourne at Social Media Week: Los Angeles 2017!

In 2017, this event will explore their global theme “Language and the Machine”, which examines how algorithms are shaping human language communication.
At SMW Los Angeles we will explore the theme through more than one hundred main stage talks, interviews, panel sessions and workshops.
The event will feature two stages, including a 500 person theatre and a workshop stage that seats 100, co-working lounges, speaker AMA lounge, VR showcase, technology vendors, food trucks providing complimentary lunch for all attendees and an opening party to kick-off the week’s activities.
Kelly Osbourne is a television personality, host, fashion designer, singer and actress. She first came to prominence while appearing on the reality series, “The Osbournes” with her family, for which they won a 2002 Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program.
On April 25, 2017, Osbourne published her new book, There Is No F*cking Secret: Letters from a Badass Bitch, with G.P. Putnam’s Sons. Osbourne was recently seen on the judging panel for “Project Runway” spinoff “Project Runway: Junior,” which features teenage contestants. She also appeared as a judge on the most recent season of “Australia’s Got Talent” on the Nine Network. She also lent her voice to the Disney XD animated series “The 7D,” playing the villain ‘Hildy Gloom.”
Osbourne was a co-host on E!’s hit show, “Fashion Police” from 2010 to 2015 and is frequently found on the red carpet at top award shows and key events, including the SAG Awards, Grammy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and events surrounding Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is New York, as well as London Fashion Week.
In June 2014, Osbourne released a collection of M*A*C Cosmetics she co-created with her mother, Sharon. She has also been busy designing Stories…By Kelly Osbourne, her first ready-to-wear fashion line. The line’s second collection was released in 2015.
She has also appeared on ABC’s smash hit, “Dancing with the Stars,” in which she and professional dance partner Louis van Amstel took third place. The MTV reality show The Osbournes aired from 2002 to 2005 and chronicled the family’s day-to-day life. Kelly, the middle child, emerged (according to Rolling Stone) as “a wickedly funny, brutally honest, pint-size, potty-mouthed spitfire.”
Osbourne made her debut as an actress with a starring role on the ABC high school teen drama “Life As We Know It,” where she played the supporting role of Deborah Beatrice Tynan. In 2006, Osbourne played the role of Wendy from Peter Pan in “The Queen’s Handbag” as well as providing a voice for the animated film, “Live Freaky Die Freaky.”
She made her stage debut in the role of prison matron, “Mama Morton” in the musical drama “Chicago.” She did a seven-week run in the musical at the Cambridge Theatre in London.
Osbourne had a cameo role, playing herself in Mike Meyers’ “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” She recently starred in the comedy, “Should’ve Been Romeo,” as “Nicole” a fun loving groupie. She was also seen opposite Miley Cyrus in “So Undercover.”
Osbourne has been a longtime supporter and ally to the LGBTQ community, partnering with various organizations like The Trevor Project to shed a light on the discrimination faced by the queer community worldwide. In general, she has always encouraged people to just be themselves, to have pride in who they are and unite together. “Together we achieve what is impossible to those who stand alone. Those of us who embrace and respect freedom stand together, progress together, celebrate together and grieve together.” She will be honored with the Trevor Hero Award at Trevor Live on December 4, 2016.
